Clients typically choose a Turnkey solution when they want:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certainty of deliverables<\/li>\n<li>Visibility and Control of budget<\/li>\n<li>Self contained management<\/li>\n<li>Outsourced risk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Turnkey delivery generally involves delivery of Engineering Safety Management<\/p>\n<p>In our experience the earlier we are engaged, the greater the certainty of outcome, the lower the overall cost and the lower the risk to programme delivery<\/p>\n<p>What we do is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scope the work and prepare the strategy and delivery plan<\/li>\n<li>Deliver and manage the process to cost, quality and programme<\/li>\n<li>Assign the appropriate resources to complete the work at the appropriate time\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We can deliver in-house as part of a project team or undertake the bulk of the work from our offices in Central London<\/p>\n<p>The advantage of the latter is that you are spared the cost and inconvenience of providing permanent desks while still retaining easy access in London for meetings, etc.<\/p>\n<p>You have greater control and visibility of costs at each stage<\/p>\n<p>We also appoint a project manager from our side who reports to your project or programme manager and acts as a single point of contact<\/p>\n<p>Turnkey solutions are typically priced in one of two ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed-price staged payments<\/li>\n<li>Fixed price monthly retainer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel panel-default\">\n<div class=\"panel-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"panel-title\"><a href=\"#project-activites\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#how-we-work\">Project activities and assignments <\/a><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"project-activites\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\">\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<p>Project activities and assignments generally involve delivery of an element or elements of Engineering Safety Management to a defined scope of works by a small team e.g. the assignment to run the JNUP Operational &amp; Support Hazard Analysis Sessions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed price 3 person team.<\/li>\n<li>Developed the workshop packs,<\/li>\n<li>Facilitated the workshop sessions,<\/li>\n<li>Captured the results as reports and<\/li>\n<li>Set up an action tracking spreadsheet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Clients typically choose a Projects solution when they:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a capability and\/or capacity gap<\/li>\n<li>Require specific domain knowledge and\/or expertise<\/li>\n<li>Want certainty of cost and deliverables<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The main difference with the Project activity or assignment approach is that the scope of works is more limited and clearly defined<\/p>\n<p>Activity is much more closely controlled and managed by the assigning project manager<\/p>\n<p>We are more likely to be working in\u00a0 your team though depending on the nature of the work it is also feasible to work from our offices<\/p>\n<p>Project Activities are typically priced on a Fixed-price staged payments basis<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel panel-default\">\n<div class=\"panel-heading\">\n<h4 class=\"panel-title\"><a href=\"#specialist-expertise\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#how-we-work\">Specialist Expertise <\/a><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"specialist-expertise\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse\">\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<p>Clients typically choose Specialist Expertise when they:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have an open ended or undefined scope of works<\/li>\n<li>A need for specific capability or subject matter\/domain expertise in a specialist area<\/li>\n<li>Need to meet short term peak demand at critical times<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Specialist Expertise is typically priced on a day rate basis or a retainer for an agreed number of days per week or month as appropriate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The choice of how to engage with us is up to you and is dependent upon a number of factors including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the life cycle stage of the project<\/li>\n<li>the specific scope of works<\/li>\n<li>any need for independence required in our delivery team, for example the need to separate production of documentation and its technical review<\/li>\n<li>how much control you want and need<\/li>\n<li>the existing capability and capacity in the project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"panel panel-primary\">\n<div class=\"panel-heading\">\n<p class=\"panel-title\">You have the <b>choice<\/b> to work with us in the way that best suits your needs \u2013 whether it is:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<ul>\n<li>Turnkey delivery of the engineering safety management on a project or<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Project activity or assignment for a specific scope of works\u00a0or<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Engaging us to supply a specialist expertise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel-body\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Each offers different benefits and subject to any needs for independence the services can be used in conjunction with one another or completely separately.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019d be delighted to support you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stockton are flexible in how they work and there are a number of ways we can engage with Clients.\u00a0 Clients typically engage us in one of three ways: Turnkey delivery Turnkey delivery is where we deliver a phased programme of &hellip;
