Provision of Assurance Management Support allied specifically to the Introduction of ‘Hydraulic In Bearer Clamplock (IBCL) Points’ at Neasden Depot and Provision of a Feasibility Study / Migration Strategy for an ‘Electrically Actuated IBCL’ for future use on TfL Infrastructure.

 

Management of the production of the Product Assurance documentation produced by the Points Supplier (SPX Rail Systems) as part of the ‘Product Safety Case’ to gain approval for the introduction of ‘In Bearer Point Mechanisms’ (IBCL) for use at Neasden Depot. In addition to this we prepared a Feasibility Study / Migration Strategy for the introduction of ‘Electrically Actuated IBCL’s’ for future use on TfL Infrastructure. This work included Failure Analysis, Bottom Up Cost Estimates and Detailed Planning and Whole Life Costing of the Hydraulic vs Electric Variant.
