London Underground Deep Tube Programme

Provision of Support for the Engineering Safety Management activities to the Deep Tube Programme for London Underground.  The Deep Tube Programme objective is to derive the maximum capacity of the Deep Tube Lines, through replacement of Rolling Stock and Signalling assets whilst: ·

• Resolving the constraints of the existing infrastructure

• Minimising energy utilisation

• Managing increases in tunnel temperature

• Improving the customer experience

• Exploring higher levels of automation

• Not accepting wholesale closures and

• Improving overall service reliability

Specialist technical work by Stockton includes safety planning, production of project safety documentation, liaison with project stakeholders together with hazard identification, management and review.
