As mentioned previously, Stockton is a company founded by Engineers and run by engineers.\u00a0 This theme is common throughout the company including the Board. The Board of Stockton is comprised of three Directors all of whom have many years engineering experience in the Railway and Avionics Sectors having worked in both the Client and Supplier\u2019s Businesses\u2019.<\/p>\n

Martin Bayliss \u2013 Technical Director<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
A railway engineer for more than thirty years. Martin was instrumental in bringing Risk Analysis techniques to London Underground. More recently he has developed and run courses on risk assessment and was a compliance manager, systems assurance manager and signalling project engineer. Consultancy clients include Tube Lines, London Underground, Crossrail, Network Rail, Bombardier, Edmund Nuttall and TCI Consultants. Martin has worked for Stockton since our formation in 2005.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ralph Pantelides \u2013 Operations Director<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
Ralph provided system safety justifications for London Underground, Network Rail and Crossrail.\u00a0 Projects including Jubilee and Northern line upgrade project, LU P&C renewals, NR Thameslink High Capacity Infrastructure, and LU Four Lines Modernisation.\u00a0\u00a0Ralph has also worked on RAMS safety cases and managed systems performance modelling projects at the UK Civil Aviation Authority and National Air Traffic Services.\u00a0\u00a0At Crossrail, Ralph produced the system-level infrastructure safety justifications for the Elizabeth line entry into ROGS, Trial Running, Trial Operations and Revenue Service.\u00a0\u00a0Ralph has worked for Stockton since its formation in 2005.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Stephen Turner \u2013 Business Development Director<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
Stephen has led technical assurance for several major infrastructure programmes through trials and into revenue service, from the Jubilee Line Extension Project as the Train Systems Assurance Manager (1999) to the Crossrail Central Operating Section as Head of Assurance (2022). He was lead consultant to Tube Lines for the Jubilee Northern Lines Upgrade Project, assuring the TBTC signalling system from cross acceptance into revenue service on both lines, and to TfL for the 4 Lines Modernisation Programme CBTC signalling system initial two migration sections into revenue service. He has advised on tender preparation and tender evaluations and on application of engineering safety management throughout the project lifecycle. Stephen is an experienced Safety Assessor. Stephen has worked for Stockton since our formation in 2006.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Stockton started operations in October 2005 with 8 founding partners, and has grown organically.
